I have a new gift idea that I love for new moms/babies....check out www.mommylabels.com and you can buy a custom bag tag for diaper bags (great for when you have to take your baby to daycare, the nursery at the gym, etc.) I just bought them for my kids' backpacks and lunchboxes!
I always buy books or CDs. Babies get enough clothing. Favorite books to buy - Jamberry by Bruce Degen, any Karen Katz, Sandra Boynton or Eric Carle, poetry collections. Favorite CDs to buy - Laurie Berkner, Billy Jonas, Secret Agent 23 Skidoo, Mr. Billy.
